Education:

At La Bella, we know that in order to be the best you have to have seek out the best educators and learn from them. We attend numerous educational events annually and are constantly researching the newest and most innovative spa and salon services available.

Betty Harris, La Bella’s owner, has a Biology Major with a Chemistry minor (pre-med degree). She intended on going to Medical school but was advised to obtain more one on one patient care experience before applying. It was at the time, she decided to become certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and get involved with exercise programming and fitness analysis. With this focus on health and nutrition it was a natural progression for her to become director of a medically supervised weight loss center.

The Doctor’s Nutrition Center was tremendously successful but with the addition of Subdermal therapy (synergie) became tremendously successful. From there body contouring techniques because her passion and we have continuously added a variety of modalities, wraps etc. Once into the spa world we began to add aesthetics, massage and cosmetology services one after the other. Our goal it to be the absolute best we can be by offering the most results-oriented treatments and services available. Whether it’s the richest colors, trendiest cuts, most aggressive body contouring techniques or newest aesthetics machine, we will have it and offer it. A “La Bella client” will get noticed.

Betty often lectures on the science of skin, weight loss techniques, the physiology of our various treatments, the protein structure of hair, the chemistry of our products lines, business skills and much more. Outside speakers are often brought in as well. However, while our focus at La Bella is increased knowledge of the trade it is also just as important to understand the value of insurance and retirement planning.
